By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up via a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive your name and email from that provider.
  • Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number. We receive transaction IDs, subscription status, and billing details.
  • Photos and Images: When you upload photos to generate caricatures, we temporarily process those images through our AI systems. See Section 3 for how we handle your uploaded content.
  • Communications: If you contact us via email or support forms, we collect the content of those messages.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, generation history, click events, and session duration.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preference.
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, and error logs.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and analyze usage. See Section 6 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process your AI caricature generations
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, password reset, payment receipts)
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent; you may opt out at any time)
  • Analyze usage trends to improve our product
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues

3. Your Photos and Generated Content

3.1 Photo Processing

When you upload a photo to generate a caricature:

  • Your photo is transmitted securely (via HTTPS) to our servers for AI processing.
  • Photos uploaded on the Free plan are temporarily stored for processing and automatically deleted within 24 hours.
  • Photos uploaded on paid plans (Creator, Team) are stored for up to 30 days to enable re-generation and history features. You can delete them at any time from your account settings.

3.2 Generated Caricatures

  • Caricatures you generate are stored in your account for your convenience.
  • On the Free plan, generated images are retained for 7 days.
  • On paid plans, generated images are retained until you delete them or close your account.

3.3 AI Training

  • We do not use your uploaded photos or generated caricatures to train our AI models. Your content is used solely to provide the Service to you.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
  • With Your Consent: We may share information with third parties when you explicitly authorize us to do so.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
  • Access controls and authentication for internal systems

8. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Uploaded photos are deleted according to the schedule in Section 3.
  • Generated images are retained per your plan type (see Section 3).
  • Usage and log data is retained for up to 12 months.
  • Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
